BFD Mini-Movie released!

Brighton FD recently commissioned Josh Pies of C47 Films to produce a mini-movie on Facebook that tells the story of the important role volunteers play in responding to the needs of our neighbors and strangers alike in their time of need 24x7.

Brighton’s team of First Responders is made up of approximately 70 volunteer and 30 paid firefighters who train and work together to help when things go wrong — about 2500 times per year! Car accidents, stove fires, trouble breathing, a fall off a roof, smoke from the basement, to name a few — when you call our team makes things better.

However, the growing calls for service have created our need to recruit more community-minded, hard-workers to join our family. We have volunteer opportunities for ages 14-55+. Please consider getting involved, or spreading the word to those you know that BFD needs more volunteers in our ranks! Brighton residency is not required.
