Live-in "Bunker Program" Now Accepting Applications

For Complete Details, visit out Bunker Page

Our Live-in Bunker Program is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year.
If you are or plan on becoming a certified firefighter by August 2018, consider our program and receive free room and board for as long as you are a student.

Participants may also be eligible to receive up to 13 hours of MCC credit in the FPT program.

The term ‘Live-In” or “Bunker” represents a unique community service opportunity with the Brighton Fire Department, a department comprised of volunteers and career firefighters.

The “Live-In” / ”Bunker” is a person who serves the department and community
in a mutual aid volunteer capacity (for 24 hours per week) as a “live-in” or “residential” fire fighter.

Those who can’t/don’t meet the minimum standard, can consider our Squad Program or apply for a “non Live-in” status.
